New
Chief Field Officer at the ILPH

Paul
Teasdale, Field Officer for the ILPH (International League for the
Protection of Horses) in the West Midlands, has recently been appointed
Chief Field Officer at the equine welfare charity.
He
has taken over the reins from Norman Brown who is standing down
from the post to continue as a Field Officer in a part time capacity.
Paul
joined the ILPH in 1997 when he retired from the Police force. During
his time in the Mounted Branch he served in every rank from Constable
upwards and in the latter stages of his career was Chief Inspector
of the Greater Manchester Mounted Police, the largest provincial
mounted branch in the country.
The
culmination of his career in the service was as the Home Office
adviser to assist Her Majesty's Inspectorate during mounted branch
inspections.

legislation proposed by the Government and look forward to
implementing it with the help of a very professional and experienced
team of Field Officers.

before they have to endure the intolerable levels of abuse
and neglect they suffer at the moment because of the inadequacy
