Ride Horseback Across The Mongolian Countryside

Ride the beautiful Mongolian countryside in the summer of 2003.

Ride Mongolian horses under the endless blue sky of the Mongolian countryside observing nomadic life, ancient monasteries and cities founded during the reign of Chinggis Kahn and his successors. Two tour itineraries are available.

Itinerary 8 "Arkhangai Province in Central Mongolia": On this 12 day tour see wild Prewalsky horses, visit the area where Chinggis Khan built his ancient capital and many other historical and natural attractions. Follow worn paths or ride free across the open un-fenced countryside.

Itinerary 9 "Khovsgol Mountains and Lake": This is a 10-day ride along the huge and beautiful Khovsgol Lake, called the mother ocean by local Mongolians. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of forests, mountains and wild animals. Local inhabitants of the region breed reindeer, yaks, horses and sheep.
