The National Raceline, which has provided instant race calls and race results via the telephone to the thoroughbred racing community since 1989, have announced a new venture. The company has launched HandRide.com, which through the power of the Internet, brings buyers and sellers of thoroughbred racehorses and breeding stock together with innovative features such as online video viewing of racehorses for sale, and state-of-the-art search capabilities. Other features of the website include daily-updated racelines, photos to examine, an EmailAlert system, and a “Buyers In Search Of” section, which details the specific needs and wants of horse owners actively seeking racehorses and bloodstock. There is a $40 monthly listing fee ($75 with video) and they charge no sales commission. Listing a horse for sale takes only a few minutes and can be done easily online or through a toll-free telephone number.

The National Raceline, based in Delray Beach, Florida, has allowed horsemen to listen to actual race calls from racetracks coast to coast including Canada for nearly thirteen years.
