JUMP OFF, the board game for Horse-lovers

Launched at HOYS last year, Jump-Off has been selling steadily by mail order. Strong interest from retailers has lead Stage Coach Games to make it available to the trade as well.

JUMP OFF is a classic board game contained in a colourful box that looks eye-catching in a window or on a shelf. It is manufactured to a high standard; the pieces are all thick card or wood and it weighs-in at nearly 2kg!

The box contains a colourful board (depicting a show-jumping arena), a selection of show jumps, horse-shaped player pieces and question cards with over 1000 equestrian questions.

JUMP OFF is supported by the British Horse Society for learning the theory of horsemanship.

Players set-out their own show-jumping course which can be different every game. Using a mixture of luck and skill they race around the course and the first over the line is the winner. To clear jumps players have to answer questions and these are graded so that players of all abilities (even non-horsey ones!) can play together equally. The six categories range from Novice to Expert with four levels in between equivalent to the BHS Stages 1 to 4.

JUMP OFF can be played purely for fun or to help with revision for the BHS Stage exams.
