BHS British Riding Clubs
New Championship season starts for British Riding Clubs

British Riding Clubs kick off their 2003 Championship season with the finals of the NAF Novice Indoor Show Jumping series generously sponsored by Natural Animal Feeds. The Championships take place at Hartpury College, Gloucestershire over the weekend of 26th and 27th April.

To compete at the final, Riding Club teams of four riders will have qualified at their Area Qualifier. These qualifiers take place across the country. You must be a member of an affiliated Riding Club to take part in this Championship.

Both senior and junior championships are jumped over two rounds with jumps in the second round not exceeding 3'. The championship winners will be calculated on the team with the best three scores from two rounds. If there is equality after this there will be a jump off.

Emma Spivey, Head of Riding Clubs said: "We are delighted that Natural Animal Feeds have decided to sponsor this Championship Series for a second year and very grateful for their continuing support to the BRC movement".

Anyone who would like to join a Riding Club with a view to taking part in Riding Club competitions should contact the Office on 01926 707700 or email l.ricketts@bhs.org.uk
