Want to learn to ride western?

Post Oak Farm & Guest Ranch outside of Austin, Texas, USA is gearing up for its spring and summer riding programs. A small bed & breakfast guest ranch, Post Oak Farm specializes in ranch holidays for that special traveler who wishes to devote vacation time to learning new equestrian skills or enjoying the peacefulness and quiet of this small working ranch and horse/rider training facility.

The lesson program covers a diverse set of riding disciplines from classical dressage to cutting, from reining to trail classes. Their 445 acres of prime central Texas hill country blooms with masses of wildflowers in spring where ranch rides, cattle herding and goat tending are part of the daily routine. Or, in the heat of summer go straight from the barn to the pool and kick off your boots for a refreshing swim.

Post Oak Farm has three guest rooms, each with its own bath, appointed with an eclectic collection of antiques. Guests enjoy a full country breakfast each morning before heading up to the barn to ride or out into the hill country to see the sights.
