Chris Kappler Has Three Horses Place in the Top Four with 76 Horses Attempting Today.

Wellington, FL – February 5, 2003 – In the Internationale Arena today at the Kilkenny/ICH Internationale the featured jumper class was a $7,500 1.45 meter Time First Jump-off designed by Leopoldo Palacious-Jugo from Venezuela. Chris Kappler was the big winner in this class—he was first-placed on ProFox, third on Korina and fourth on Tango. Pro Fox is a Rhinelander gelding owned by Jorgen Winroth of Lawrenceville, NJ. Pro Fox held the lead with 40 horses still attempting the course after his round and a total of 76 horses in the class. The third-placed mare, Korina, went early in the order of go with Chris and is owned by Moonraker Farm. The only other person to place in the top four was Beezie Madden of Cazenovia, NY with Authentic – this pair was 2nd. Authentic is owned by John Madden Sales and Elizabeth Bush Burke. Only 9 competitors of the 76 negotiated the first round and jump-off without fault.

In the Hunter rings today, In Disguise owned by Ellen Toon was a real winner. In Disguise, ridden by Sachine Belle, won 3 of his Green Conformation Hunter classes and was 2nd once. In Disguise won the model, the two over fence classes, and was second in the under saddle.

In the 3 and 4 Year Old Pre Green Hunters, Alexa Weisman’s Music Street won a class and was second in another. Scott Stewart rides this horse for Alexa.
