International Visitors On The Increase

MORE International visitors, increased International exhibitors, and an International Buyers Centre brought a cosmopolitan feel to the Trade Fair.

A new initiative, the International Buyers Centre was a real boost for the event.

The centre was sponsored by the International Commercial Centre and the UK International Agriculture and Technology Centre (IATC).

It provided a forum for international enquiries, international visitors and delegations seeking products and services from the UK.

Helen Grice of the International Commercial Centre said: "The Buyers Centre has been an invaluable resource to international buyers. It is somewhere they can come and relax and have a break.

"Having access to the internet has also proved an excellent resource.

"We have had visitors from all over the world and it has worked extremely well, it has been a big success."

American visitor Debbie Honer was delighted with the facility.

"It is a wonderful idea and a great base where we can have meetings and get in touch with people.

"We go to trade shows in the US and there isn't a meeting place like this."
