YOUNG event rider Kitty Boggis has secured sponsorship from TopSpec Equine, well known for their support of young, up and coming riders.

Based near Brampton in Oxfordshire, Kitty was a member of the gold medal winning team at last year's Young Rider European Championships in Bialy Bor, Poland, on her horse Five Boys, whose double clear round also rewarded her with an impressive fourth place overall.

Kitty is a former runner-up in the TopSpec Scholarship and has continued to feed her horses on the products ever since.

Five Boys began life as a race horse and was trained in Ireland, running in bumpers until 1997, but has adapted well to his life in the eventing world.

Said Kitty: "He is very intelligent, thrives on work and hates holidays. The TopSpec sponsorship is a real boost and a great way to start the 2004 season.

"The horses all look really well on TopSpec. We have a very exciting year ahead with a good team of horses to compete."
