Horse Society welcomes Defra consultation on equine passports

The
British Horse Society welcomes the draft legislation on equine passports
published by Defra yesterday (27 March). Equine societies and organisations
have waited months for sight of the draft and now have three months
to comment by 30 June.
The
Society said today that it needed time to assimilate the draft document,
and to consult with colleagues. It would make further comment once
the document had been thoroughly scrutinised.
