Support For World Class Start And Potential Squads

The British Equestrian Federation¹s World Class Start & Potential programme has recently set up ŒSupporters of World Class Equestrian¹ that brings together equestrian companies who would like to assist the World Class Start & Potential squads.

ŒSupporters of World Class Equestrian¹ is based on a partnership approach tailored to the individual company, either through offering products, services or discounts. In return there are a number of generic PR and marketing opportunities that a company is able to take advantage of.

Vikki Kind, World Class Start & Potential Manager said, ³The concept of ŒSupporters of World Class Equestrian¹ is unique, as it enables small or large companies to be involved with some of the most talented and dedicated young riders in Great Britain².

Natural Animal Feeds (NAF) and Spillers, Official Suppliers to the British Olympic Equestrian Team also generously extend their support to the World Class Start and Potential programme.

ŒSupporters of World Class Equestrian¹ has also attracted a number of other equestrian companies such as, Frogpool Manor, Woof Wear, easibed, Fort Dodge Animal Health, Brickwood Arena Mirrors, Lansdown Action Rugs Ltd, and Simply Rugs.

Kind added, ³With the fantastic support and backing already shown from companies such as these, this clearly demonstrates the belief in the World Class Start & Potential programme².

David Dyer, Managing Director of Frogpool Manor said. ³We are delighted to be a ŒSupporter of World Class Equestrian¹, as I feel it is important to help and assist talented and dedicated young riders who are working towards representing Great Britain at Olympic level.²

Ali Howe, Brand Manager at Woof Wear adds, 'Woof Wear is delighted to provide support for the 2004 World Class Start & Potential Riders. British riders have always been at the forefront of world equestrian sport and this is a fantastic opportunity to support our teams of the future. We look forward to watching their progress at home and on the International stage."

The World Class Start & Potential programme is for riders between the ages of 14 and 30 who demonstrate the exceptional talent and dedication to ride and win at Olympic level in Dressage, Paralympic Dressage, Show Jumping or Eventing and which establishes a development pathway for these riders to progress onto the Olympic Performance squads in 2008 and 2012.

The World Class Start and Potential programmes are Lottery funded through Sport England.
