Kurten Shows Class At Gothenburg

WITH just 20 points accumulated so far in her bid to be at the World Cup Show Jumping Final in Milan two weeks from now, Ireland's Jessica Kurten tonight (Friday) stretched herself to take first place in the World Cup Preliminary class at Gothenburg, the last of the World Cup qualifying venues.

Riding the 10 yr old bay mare <Quibell>, Kurten now puts herself in pole position for Sunday's World Cup competition at the Swedish event, and will hope for another win to earn her a place at Milan.

Jessica currently lies in joint 40th position in the World Cup points league.
