Ireland's Heike Holstein 3rd In Lipica Grand Prix - Lipica CDI*** Slovenia - 30th May 2003


Heike Holstein riding the imposing hannovarian gelding Welt Adel was in the money once again today (Friday 30th May 2003) when placing 3rd in the Grand Prix at the international dressage show in Lipica. Despite having to contend with soaring temperatures at the Slovenian venue Heike scored 65.83% to place third out of 35 starters in the class. The Grand Prix was won by Elena Sidneva of Russia riding Arthax Condor RBB on a score of 70.20% with Belgian rider Johan Zagers and Mister Saygon in
second place with a score of 65.95%. Heike Holstein and Welt Adel will compete in the Grand Prix Special tomorrow (Saturday 31st May 2003). They won the corresponding class at the Lipica show last year.
