Jumping - First Blood To O'Connor At La Baule |
IRELAND'S
23 yr old Cian O'Connor made a firm statement of intent at the Nations
Cup show at la Baule, France, this morning by taking the second
class of the event with <ABC Land Liebe> in a time of 54.83.
With
the first of the Samsung Nations Cup Superleague competitions looming
on Sunday, the Irish need a boost to their confidence, and O'Connor's
performance on the eight yr old bay mare so soon after the show
started this morning should help settle nerves for Sunday's battle
against the seven other top international teams involved.
