Jumping - O'Connor Takes Second In La Baule Derby |
THE
IRISH KEPT up their unrelenting pressure at La Baule, today (Saturday)
in advance of tomorrow's Nations Cup Superleague clash. Kildare's
Cian O'Connor once again delivered a strong message about Irish
confidence at the French venue with a convincing Second Place in
the La Baule Derby on <Irish Independent Casper>. Coming so
quickly after Billy Twomey's decisive Grand Prix win last night
at La Baule, and a clutch of Irish Firsts and Top Five places over
the last few
days, the seven opposing nations lined up for tomorrow's major competition
must surely be feeling less and less certain of an easy victory.
