Pippa - The Road To The Top Out Now

The new video, Pippa Funnell - the road to the top, produced by Equestrian Vision, was launched at Badminton Horse Trials. The film takes a look behind the scenes at one of Britain's most popular event riders, reliving her greatest moments in the sport of Eventing.

In her own modest way Pippa, and those close to her, tell the story of her rise to the top, following her career from the early days on ponies to European Champion and Badminton winner.

Her mum, Jenny Nolan, takes us through her early years with family pictures of her daughter on ponies. Ruth McMullen, Pippa's mentor and provider of Sir Barnaby, describes nurturing her talent, which culminated in them becoming National Champions. The programme also provides a unique insight into Pippa's daily routine as you watch her schooling, see her at home, on the gallops and at competitions.

Interviews with Pippa, her loyal team of grooms and helpers, sports psychologist, Nicky Heath, and, of course, husband William, all combine to show the sport of Eventing to be both unpretentious and enlightening.
