Jumping - Irish Take Top Two Places In La Baule Speed Class

WITH
just hours to go before today's (Friday) important Nations Cup Super
League competition, Irish riders delivered a note of intent to the
seven other countries competing, by taking the two top spots in
the Speed Class at la Baule, France.
Marion
Hughes, who will be Fifth Man for the afternoon's Nations Cup battle,
had a decisive win on <LB Galileo>, while yesterday's speed
class winner, Cian O'Connor, came in just fractions of a second
behind her on <ABC Land Liebe>, the horse he rode so expertly
to claim victory yesterday.
