Another Successful ILPH Horse Show

This year's ILPH Horse Show was yet another resounding success with 276 horses and ponies entering 82 classes, with competitors coming from as far as Lincolnshire and Hampshire.

New classes at the Show this year included the Ponies (UK) Gilbert-Scott In Hand Championship qualifiers, which were won by Sarah Holdsworth's Alaska (Sport Horse section), Mr & Mrs Rennocks' Colbeach Stardom (Riding Pony section) and Ms S Bush's Rendene Romany (Hunter Pony section).

Within this section there were classes for yearlings, two year and three year olds. Comments Mel Edwards, ILPH Horse Show Secretary, "The numbers forward in the Gilbert-Scott In Hand Championship qualifiers were a little disappointing, but I'm sure that once the word gets around that we have separate age group classes within each section, then next year the numbers forward will swell."
