Pony Club play for HorseIT Shield
The Pony Club are set to play their popular Mounted Games at the Horse of the Year Show (2nd - 7th October, Wembley Arena) for a new prize The HorseIT Shield. One of the UKs leading equestrian Internet sites, HorseIT are sponsoring this hotly contested competition.
A total of six teams, each with four members, will battle it out in the International Arena on Wednesday 3rd October and Thursday 4th October. Each round of the popular Mounted Games features four of the six teams, playing the fast-moving relay competitions during which the young competitors display amazing coordination and balance. Points are awarded to the winners of each race, which will determine the eventual winner of the HorseIT Shield. The Pony Club Mounted Games are then played during the Matinee and Evening performances for the remainder of the Show, for the prestigious Prince Philip Cup.
"We already have a very close relationship with The Pony Club, having worked with them on their new website" remarked Jane Skepper, HorseIT. "We recognise the importance of Horse of the Year Show in the wider equestrian world and supporting this competition brings HorseIT considerable exposure to a wider audience of horse and pony enthusiasts who enjoy this extremely prestigious event."
