A hand injury has ruled Trevor Coyle out of the Irish team taking part in today's Falsterbo Nations Cup in Sweden, due to get underway around 2pm Irish time. Clem McMahon has been drafted into the team, and will ride Gelvin Clover. The loss of Coyle, who would have ridden the impressive Fleur, was described as a major blow by Chef d'Equipe Gerry Mullins. However he expressed confidence in the four riders who will now represent Ireland in a bid to continue what has been an impressive Nations Cup season to date. Ireland will be 9th to jump in today's event.
