Hand Motors to Sponsor Vermont Summer Festival Grand Prix

East Dorset, Vermont—July 16, 2003—The $35,000 Manchester Classic's Otter Creek Grand Prix to be held on July 20, 2003 is being sponsored by Hand Motors. This is the second of five Grand Prix events of the Vermont Summer Festival Horse Show. This year's sponsorship by Hand Motors continues a history of support by the Manchester Center based Chevrolet and Volkswagen dealership.
"John and Kimet Hand of Hand Motors have been our strongest community proponents of this event in the past, and we're thrilled to have their energy, commitment and support again this year," stated Dotty Ammerman, Executive Director of the Vermont Summer Festival. "The welcome they extend to our event and the competitors makes it a joy to be in the Manchester area" she added.
John Hand, president of Hand Motors added "We appreciate all the effort and months of preparation that are required in bringing a world class equestrian competition to our community, and our sponsorship is a statement of support to the Vermont Summer Festival owners, John and Dotty Ammerman. They have truly created a beautiful venue at the Beebe Farm and have attracted visitors from all over the country to enjoy our area for a five week run".
The Vermont Summer Festival is New England's largest "AA" rated hunter-jumper horse show circuit. This year's event includes five USET-recognized $35,000 Grand Prix and five $10,000 Mini Prix. Each of the five weeks will also feature a $10,000 Show Jumping Hall of Fame High Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper class, part of the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series which determines which junior and amateur/owner riders will qualify to ride at the 2003 National Horse Show.
Hand Motors celebrates over 30 years in Manchester, Vermont, serving the automotive needs of the community and is proud to be a sponsor of the Vermont Summer Festival Horse Shows.
