High
Performance Funding Announced
|
THE
EQUESTRIAN Federation of Ireland (EFI) is pleased to announce that
a High Performance grant of 252,000 Euro for equestrian sport has
been made by the Irish Sports Council for 2003. This compares to
the grant of 244,500 Euro made in 2002.
In
order to further develop its programme in this area, the EFI has
appointed former international show jumper John Ledingham as the
Chairman of the High Performance Committee, while former Dressage
Ireland Chair Joan Keogh is providing technical services.
The
2003 High performance Grant by the Irish Sports Council is in addition
to the core grant of 467,520 Euro for 2003, which compares to a
2002 core grant of 452,943 Euro. http://www.horsesport.ie
