Show Jumping - O'Shea Wins First International Class

TWENTY-FIVE year old Paul O'Shea from Co. Limerick notched up his first ever international win at the World Cup show in Zagreb, Croatia today (Thursday), riding <Liffey Valley>, the former mount of Hazel O'Callaghan , who died in July, after a tragic accident. The horse is owned by her mother, Shelagh.

Paul's win was in the major class of the day, the 1.40 Jump-Off.

He took over the ride on <Liffey Valley> during the summer, and has won two national Grands Prix in the Kerrygold Grand Prix League, at Newcastle West
and Celbridge.

Zagreb is his first international outing on the horse.
