It meant an early start for young fundraiser Hannah Turner (11) of Ely in order to take part in the ILPH (International League for the Protection of Horses) Charity Fun Ride at Elveden Forest, Norfolk, at the end of last month.

Not only was Hannah one of the youngest riders to complete the six mile ride around the beautiful Elveden Estate, but she managed to raise £93 in sponsorship, which, on the day, was the most raised.

For her prize Hannah enjoyed a VIP tour around the new ILPH Hall Farm Centre where she met lots of rescued horses and ponies.

During the day she was presented with a silver certificate for fundraising and membership of the charity's Junior Club in recognition of all her hard work.
