David O'Brien Just Pipped At Helsinki

Lt.
David O'Brien failed by just half a second to take the Helsinki
Horse Show Trophy at Finland's first intenational meeting of the
indoor season this afternoon (Friday).
Riding Lismore Clover, a mare loaned to the Army Equitation School
by Lady Moira Forbes, O'Brien went clear in the second round but
was pipped for time
by Great Britain's Robert Smith on Marius Claudius.
Lt. Col. Gerry Mullins of the Army Equitation School said that O'Brien's
effort was a very good performance, especially as it was just the
beginning of the indoor season.
