USA Equestrian Requesting Bids To Host Driving Championships

USA Equestrian is now accepting bids for the 2004 U.S. Equestrian National Combined Driving Singles Championship and the 2004 U.S. Equestrian National Combined Driving Pony Championships (Singles, pairs and teams). Deadline for submission is November 30.

Advanced-level Combined Driving Events interested in hosting either or both of these championships should contact Anne Clay, Sport Manager-Driving and Endurance at 859-225-6923 or via email aclay@equestrian.org to request the applicable bid document(s).

U.S. Equestrian will succeed USA Equestrian as the National Governing Body for equestrian sport in the United States upon its designation by the United States Olympic Committee, or December 1, 2003, whichever is later.

U.S. Equestrian was formed through the combination of USA Equestrian and the United States Equestrian Team. The vision of U.S. Equestrian is to provide leadership for equestrian sport in the United States of America, promoting the pursuit of excellence from the grass roots to the Olympic Games, based on a foundation of fair, safe competition and the welfare of its horses, and embracing this vision, to be the best national equestrian federation in the world.
