The
Veteran Horse Society again win a National Award for their Website
The
Veteran Horse Society has again gained a major award in the E-commerce
Awards for the UK.
They
received Highly Commended for their Section in the Voluntary and
Community Sector on the E-Commerce Awards 2003. Emma Holland the
Web Manager for the Society is extremely pleased and honoured to
get second place in the Awards. Emma spoke today of her achievement
'The winner of our section is another excellent site, and I am delighted
that again I have obtained another award for the society. We all
work unpaid with no expenses as we all believe in the Society, we
are all delighted it has grown so very quickly, this is also thanks
to the support of Members and very much appreciated donations'.
Emma
shows her own veteran horse Carla and gives many hours of her own
time to promote the website and the society.
The
VHS is one of the fastest growing equine organisations ever launch
in the UK, it now relies totally on its website to directly re-home
many veteran horses through-out the UK.
